The days before and immediately following holidays like July 4th typically show a slight decrease in market activity. This past week was no exception, though our market is still quite active. New construction is going under contract quickly especially on Johns Island. North Charleston and the Summerville and Ladson Area. The chart below shows the number of homes that went under contract over the past week in comparison to the same week since 2004.
