Still waiting for mortgage rates to rise, as they hit low for the year!
We keep waiting for mortgage rates to increase, but Freddie Mac's weekly survey shows rates at their lowest point yet this year. With the average at 3.94% this week, buyers' purchasing power remains strong.
According to TheMortgageReports.com, rates were expected to hit 4.3% this year, but are now headed in the opposite direction, despite a stronger economy.
Of course, rates change daily, and many factors go into your interest rate, so the best resource is a lender you trust. If you think now may be the right time to take advantage of these rates and buy, call Ed Hunnicutt! We'd love to guide you through the process and help make your dreams of home ownership a reality!
