Spring has Sprung in the Lowcountry

The official start of Spring may be 2 weeks away, but its in the air throughout the Lowcountry. And no, we aren't just talking about the pollen. From the early buds on the crepe myrtles to the flourishing snapdragons, our mild Winter is quickly turning into a gorgeous Spring. So what's the best way to embrace this gift from Mother Nature? Get out and plant something! Now is a great time to add a Little Gem Magnolia to your landscape. Iconic to the South, the evergreen tree produces the most beautiful, fragrant flowers. They don't grow as large as a traditional Southern Magnolia, so they are a more manageable addition. Charleston is known for pristine gardens, and picture-perfect window boxes. You can recreate some of your favorites in your own backyard.
