  • 236 Charleston area residential properties under contract 12/11 - 12/17/15. 
  • 187 single family homes under contract during that time had a median list price $236k, $120/sf. 

    (6%) of 187 homes under contract were either foreclosures/short sales (fc/ss). Another 12% new construction. 

    23 Mount Pleasant homes under contract were listed from $240k - $1.2M. Median $491k, $190/sf.  13% were either fc/ss. 13% new construction.

    5 Charleston peninsula homes under contract with list prices between $250k - $680k.

    34 island homes under contract during the 11th - 15th.  James Island -13, Folly Beach -2, Johns Island - 5($185k - $335k), Wadmalaw Island -1($799k), Kiawah Island -1, Edisto Island -2 ($314k,$319k), Seabrook Island - 4 ($489k - $1.7M), IOP-1($1.9M), Wild Dunes-3($549k - $1.8M), Daniel Island -2.

    13 James Island homes under contract were listed from $140k - $565k.  Median $315k, $158/sf. 1 fc/ss. 0 new construction.

    22 West Ashley homes under contract were listed from $69k - $449k. Median $240k, $122/sf. 2 fc/ss. 2 new construction.

    17 North Charleston homes under contract were listed from $59k - $325k. Median $169k, $111/sf. 0 fc/ss. 29% new construction.

    35 Summerville/Ladson homes under contract were listed from $68k - $350k. Median $195k, $96/sf.  2 fc/ss.  2 new construction

    45 Hanahan/Goose Creek/Moncks Corner homes under contract were listed from $38k - $369k. Median $150k, $98/sf. 4 fc/ss. 11% new construction

    42 condo/townhomes under contract.  10 were in Mt Pleasant. 4 fc/ss. 3 new construction.
