Charleston SC Housing Supply and Demand 2019

238 homes under contract this past week with a list price of $299k, $154/sf. Median 54 CDOM. Median year built 1998 and only 4 of the 238 properties were either a foreclosure or short sale (fc/ss) 

35 Mount Pleasant homes under contract this past week were listed from $278k-$1.2M. Median
$495k, $211/sf. 


9 Charleston Peninsula homes under contract listed from $400k-$2.9M.  Median $695k, $277/sf. 

41 Charleston island homes under contract this past week. James Island-15, Folly Beach-2, Johns Island -7, Wadmalaw Island -1($199k), Edisto Beach-3, Sullivans Island -1($1.6M), IOP-3,Daniel Island-9.

9 Daniel Island homes under contract were listed from $512k-$1.35M. Median $750k, $269/sf and only 1 was new construction.

15 James Island homes under contract were listed from $245k-$1.4M. Median $345k, $188/sf. 

7 Johns Island homes under contract were listed from $259k-$589k. Median $358k, $157/sf. 

29 West Ashley homes under contract were listed from $136k-$2.4M. Median $330k, $168/sf.

17 North Charleston homes under contract were listed from $60k-$300k.  Median $175k, $132/sf. 

40 Summerville/Ladson homes under contract was listed from $85k-$620k. Median $253k, $127/sf. 1 was either a fc/ss and 3 were new construction. 

62 Hanahan/Goose Creek/Moncks Corner homes under contract were listed from $100k-$366k. Median
$222k, $124/sf.  2 were either fc/ss. and 6 were new construction.  

51 Charleston condo/townhomes under contract this past week and only 1 was either a fc/ss and 7 were new construction.
